KEY STEP TO PASTOR SEARCH:

UNDERSTANDING OUR CHURCH AS A FAMILY

The Pastor Search Team would like to ask all ministry teams, life groups, community groups

to jointly participate in the exercise to reflect on who we are as a church family and

what we may ask of a pastor in the near future.

Each team or group is requested to jointly complete

5 questions via google form (1 form per team/group).

The Pastor Search Team will review the results and provide a complete report in October to the church family.

SERMON PLAN DURING PASTOR WILL'S SABBATICAL FROM 17 JUL 2022 to 19 MAR 2023

During Pastor Will’s Sabbatical, Deacons and other brothers will take turns in giving sermons

with the main objective of presenting to the congregation what are the messages Apostle Paul intended to convey to

his readers and showing how God’s teachings through these books in the Bible could be applied in the context of Hong Kong.

NEW VACCINE PASS REQUIREMENTS

The Hong Kong Government made an announcement on September 8 for The major changes are:

the Vaccine Pass is now extended to cover children aged from 5 to 11,

the grace period for person aged 12 or above to receive

the third dose after the second dose will be shortened from the original six months to five months.

The new Vaccine Pass requirements will come into effect on September 30.

Parents of children under the above category are therefore encouraged to take all necessary actions

to ensure that the children can still enter the church premises after this date under the Hong Kong law.

OBSERVANCE OF ALL HEALTH & SAFETY REQUIRMENTS

The Health Department's complete Press Release on the new changes to the Vaccine Pass can be accessed through the following link:

https://www.info.gov.hk/gia/general/202209/08/P2022090800481.htm?fontSize=1

We also would like to call on all attendees to observe proper health safety requirements:

1. Using Leave Home Safe app to verify the validity of vaccine pass

2. Checking of body temperature at the church entrance

3. Proper wearing of surgical mask at all times (ASTM level II or above or equivalent) except during Holy Communion

4. Testing for Covid or stay home when in doubt of your body health condition

5. Report to the church office and health authority if you have been tested positive for Covid.

Doing so helps safeguard the health of others in the church family, especially those who are weak or senior.

This also minimizes impact to the whole church in case you carry the Covid virus without knowledge.

TYPHOON & RAINSTORM WARNING

When the Typhoon Warning Signal No.8 or higher is hoisted or a Black Rainstorm Warning is in effect

by 8:00 am, all church activities including worship service scheduled at 10:00 am will be cancelled.

WORSHIP SEATING

to allow latecomers to join at the back without interrupting the service.
