Children’s Worship
& Bible Studies
WeeCare (3 years old & under)
We try to create a loving environment for the young ones to learn about God’s attributes as they learn to trust the volunteers in our children’s program. We encourage children to explore and learn by experience.
Every Sunday, we start with singing with the PromiseLand children. Then, we will have three activities based on a Bible truth. For example, we may play pretend cooking when we teach the story of Martha and Mary, preparing a meal for Jesus. Another fun activity may be the shaking of a metal tin to hear the differences of the sounds of various coins, when we read the story of the poor widow’s offering which pleased Jesus. Most Sundays we end up with snack time. We try to provide healthy options for the young ones, such as plain biscuits and fruits. Children are also welcome to bring their own snacks.

Special facilities: diaper changing table, rocking crib, cot, playpen, high chair, private nursing area, extra diapers and baby wipes provided if necessary.

PromiseLand (4–5 years old)
This class aims to prepare very young preschoolers transit to the structured class of Mighty Kids, which consists of elementary school students. As the children of this age group have longer attention span and better vocabulary skills than the WeeCare class, the teaching periods are longer and more structured.
The Worship Hour
Our class starts every Sunday when the children are dismissed during Worship to their respective Sunday School classes. We begin with singing with the WeeCare children. We carefully pick worship songs that are age appropriate with the purpose to teach the children to communicate praise, joy, and thanksgiving to God.
We adopt the Kindergarten curriculum from Sun Focus Foundation. Each month, we revolve around a main theme such as “God Watches Over Us”. Each week of the month, we tell a story from the Bible with lesson objectives corresponding to the theme. Our goals are to teach the children love and respect for God’s Word and to introduce them on a child’s level to the truth of the passage covered by the Bible story. The story is simplified and brought down to a child’s level of understanding by using his/her vocabulary and descriptive story telling. Questions are asked after the story to review the story and to reinforce the children’s understanding. We also interweave the morning with activities to create interest, and to draw applications and response. A Scripture verse is taught throughout the month to introduce the children to the actual Word of God. We encourage parents to discuss and revise the verse at home where both memorization and application will occur.
At closing, we will provide a wholesome snack time when the children are further trained to learn table manners, patience, consideration for others, gratitude, taking turns and graciousness.
The LifeGroup Hour
There is no formal teaching or training during the LifeGroup hour. However, we do provide child care service to enable parents of this group of children to attend the adult Sunday School.

Mighty Kids (6–11 years old)
Three levels of Sunday School classes are provided to children 6 – 11 years of age. Kids here learn about God through Bible stories, sharing, memory verses and many other activities.
We try to make Bible learning fun and real to children so that they can develop a solid foundation of their faith with God.
Classes start at 11:35 AM, after Sunday service, and end at 12:35 PM.
Mighty Kids One: Ages 6 – 7 by September
Mighty Kids Two: Ages 8 – 9 by September
Mighty Kids Three: Ages 10 – 11 by September
